The power supplies for the SCHOEPS solid state microphones were manufactured in many different variations which always followed a similiar scheme The SW Battery Supply Models (SW acc. to the German "Speisungs-Weiche"): SW 3 phantom power for CMT 3 / CMC 3 SW 3p phantom power with reverse polarity for CMT 3p / CMC 3p SW 3S phantom power, electronically stabilized for CMT 3 / CMC 3 SW 3pS phantom power with reverse polarity, electronically stabilized for CMT 3p / CMC 3p SW 4 T-power for CMT 4 / CMC 4, - pole of the battery is grounded SW 4p T-power for CMT 4 / CMC 4, + pole of the battery is grounded All models: With the suffix "n" they had an internal fixed -10dB attenuation The BZ Battery Supply Models (BZ acc. to the German "Batterie-Zusatz"): BZ 3 / BZ 31phantom power for CMT 3 / CMC 3 BZ 3p / BZ 31p phantom power with reverse polarity for CMT 3p / CMC 3p BZ 4 / BZ 41 T-power for CMT 4 / CMC 4 (BZ 4 only for CMT 4) BZ 41k T-power for CMC 4k (with reverse polarity, designed for use with Nagra Kudelski consoles) BZ 5 / BZ 51 phantom power for CMT 5 / CMC 5, two batteries 22,5V (for example Varta-Pertrix Nr.72) All models were also manufactured in stereo (BZS ..) and could show further indices like "D" (for Tuchel connectors), "U" (for XLR connectors) or "n" (for fixed 10dB attenuation). The NT / NC / NG Mains Supply Models (NT acc. to the German "Netz-Teil", NC acc. to the German "Netzteil Colette, NG acc. to the German "Netz-Gerät"): NT 31 / NG 31 phantom power for one CMT 3 / CMC 3 NT 31p / NG 31p phantom power with reverse polarity for one CMT 3p / CMC 3p NT 41 / NG 41 T-power for one CMT 4 / CMC 4 NG 41k T-power for one CMC 4k (with reverse polarity, designed for use with Nagra Kudelski consoles) NC 51 / NG 51 phantom power for one CMT 5 / CMC 5 NT 32 / NG 32 phantom power for two CMT 3 / CMC 3 NT 32Sphantom power for two CMT 3 / CMC 3 with higher common mode rejection ratio NT 32p / NG 32p phantom power with reverse polarity for two CMT 3p / CMC 3p CMT 32pS phantom power with reverse polarity for two CMT 3p / CMC 3p with higher common mode rejection ratio NT 42 / NG 42 T-power for two CMT 4 / CMC 4 NC 52 / NG 52 phantom power for two CMT 5 / CMC 5 NGS 32 phantom power for two CMT 3 / CMC 3 with a stereo input NGS 42 T-power for two CMT 4 / CMC 4 with a stereo input NGS 52 phantom power for two CMT 5 / CMC 5 with a stereo input All models were electronically stabilized and could show further indices like "D" (for Tuchel connectors, D = Deutschland), "U" (for XLR connectors, U = USA), "n" (for fixed 10dB attenuation), "t" for transformer output (ground free) or "v" for decoupled output (i.e. two big capacitors that block the phantom power, in German: verriegelt). ________________________________ Next page: Uniques, Prototypes and Discontinued Models Site Map Home | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
